SF upgrade from 4.1 to 6.0 on Sol 10 - will upgrade thru installer work?

Folks,

I am planning an upgrade of SF4.1 to SF6.1 on a Solaris 10 cluster. Has anyone tried such upgrade using the installer upgrade option? Did it work? I would like to avoid doing a manual pkg uninstall followed by installer installation.
