I have over 200 policies all except a few I want to be vaulted. There is some disagreement here as to the exclude function on the profile configuration screen. Currently the backup administrator set up the vaulting so all policies are listed individually so as to not dupliate a few large backups. For future reference the vault profile is being configured for duplicaton. The problem with this is if a client is newly installed this entry must be manually made in the profile or its not duplicated. That is what has been happening an how I noticed the config issue. Every week client images show up in the non vaulted images list. The admin guide for Vaulting only touched on this so my real question is: If I configure the vault profile and check the "exclude" box and list the policies I want excluded will all the others be duplicated? Unlike the actual policies I dont see the "include" list in addition to exclude so I am unsure. I attached the config window that includes the "exclude" box.
