PGP Desktop WDE will not encrypt

I am running Win 7 64-bit on a new Dell Latitude E6430 and have installed PGP Desktop 10.1.2 Currently everything appears to be working fine, however when I check WDE it is "paused" and will not resume. I click resume however nothing happens. I have already set the HD to AHA mode in the bios.
