Virtual Tape Library option license

hi all,

I have a HP D2D4112 storage system and is connected to the BE2010 server (will upgrade to BE2012)

I need to know if i need to purchase a VTL license for it (for BE2012)? or this license is embeded in the core license of Media Server ?
